Coast Guide for Bulgarian Coast from Cape Rezovo to Cape Korakia

Bulgarian coast is part of the west coast of Black Sea. It starts from Rezovska River and ends South of Cape Sivriburun.
From Cape Rezovo to Cape Korakia the coast is high, red colored and rocky, with many capes and small gulfs. The overall coast direction is Nort - East. On some places there are riffs close to the coast, which are dangerous when approaching the coast. When sailing out of the 10 meter izobata there are no underwater dangers.
More imprtnat capes are Cape Rezovo, Cape Sinemoretz, Cape Barvara, Cape Achtopol, Cape Lardigo, Cape Buruna, Cape Rohi, Cape Limnos, Cape Arapia, Cape Karaagach, Cape Urdoviza, Cape Atliman, Cape Kupria, Cape Maslen and Cape Korakia.
In good weather the small ships can anchor in Port Achtopol, Port Tzarevo, Port Primorsko and behind Cape Rezovo, Cape Silistar, Cape Sinemoretz, Cape Urdoviza, in Devil's Gulf.
Dangerous for the small ships are the following banks:
- Half mile North - East of Cape Lardigo, depth 1.3m and Lafinski Rocks with depth over them 0.8m 2 miles North - East of Cape Buruna.
- On 0.25 n miles East of Cape Kastro there is a riff that edns on the coast.
- On 0.75 n miles South - East of Cape Urdoviza there is rock bank deep 0.5m and second one 1 fathom North deep 3.2m.
- In the midel of the devil,s Gulf there are two banks: the first is on 0.6 n miles South - East of Cape Cupria and is deep 9m, the second is on 0.8 n miles South - East of the same cape and is deep 5.8m.
- In the Stomplo Gulf there are two banks. First is on 0.6 n miles North - Northeast of Cape Cupria 3 fathoms from the coast, deep 4.1m. The other one is 0.3 n miles South - West of the North entrance to the gulf, deep 0.5m.
