249 competitors from 24 nations practice in the gulf of Nessebar for the Junior Windsurfing Worlds. The races will start on August 3th. The Championship Chief Measurer - Nayl Driss (TUN) needed two days for the measurement of sails and boards and will continue on Monday.
The entry list contains 79 competitors in Mistral Youth, 31 girls will compete in the same class. In Mistral Junior 63 boys and 21 girs are about to start and in Aloha 24 kids including 2 Bulgarians will enter the competition.
On Sunday the sea around Nessebar was conquered by the colors of the sails, enjoing the quests of this beautiful heritage town and sea resort. The surfers had their first practice in moderate NE wind.
More than 50 people are engaged in the organisation of the biggest sailing event ever to happen in Bulgaria.
